About

Alicia is a painter based in Bristol (in a shed at the bottom of her garden)

She's drawn to the human form and the landscape, and to how much the two have in common: the same folds, ridges, softness and safety. Her inspiration primarily comes from the mountains and lakes, her favourite place to be, ideally parked up in her camper van.

Alicia studied Fine Art: Painting at the University of Brighton, and has worked from her studio ever since, painting primalrily in oils and finding new ways to involve others in her process: whether that’s through the many friends who’ve volunteered as models, regular studio visits, and shared trips hiking through the mountains, and getting lost swimming in the peacefulness of the lakes.

Her work has been shown at the Affordable Art Fair London, London Glassblowing Studio and the Menier Chocolate Factory, and is held in private collections.
