About
Alicia is a painter based in Bristol — in a shed at the bottom of her garden, to be precise.
She's drawn to the human form and the landscape, and to how much the two have in common: the same folds, ridges and quiet places. Her inspiration comes from the mountains and lakes, her favourite place to be, ideally parked up in her camper van, Deborah.
Alicia studied Fine Art: Painting at the University of Brighton, where she sold out her degree show. She's worked from her studio ever since, painting in oils and finding new ways to fold other people into her process: through friends who’ve volunteered as models, regular studio visits, and shared trips to the mountains.
Her work has been shown at the Affordable Art Fair London, London Glassblowing Studio and the Menier Chocolate Factory, and is held in private collections.
